Trying to draft text for every-4-years-APA "supplement" - a one-page "where am I now" sorta thingy. Have basic layout for which I'd like the text "hard-working researcher by day... ____ ____ ____ by night". (Yes, ha ha, hardworking as I post to lj. Ignore that.) Question is, what goes in the blanks? Some variation on "geeky Bostonite ____" sounds good, but I'm stumped for a third word there. And I don't really want to use either "geek" or "Bostonite" as my primary identifier... I'm *not* really a geek, just geeky, and "Bostonite" is a pretty generic primary identity. I guess I could play off of that and be all "geeky Bostonite... uh... person", which could be funny... but I thought it was an interesting problem. Anybody have any thoughts about what they'd say for themselves? That could be inspiring...

How much D&D have you been playing lately? You could be an nth level monk by night . . .

I think I'd say I'm a geek. :-) (It's 3:30am and I'm writing code.) Shortly to be a professional geek. Sorry for lack of inspiration. Though you have inspired (read: reminded) me to get working on my own page...

Does a pervy fancier fancy pervies? Or is it like a cat fancier, and you just raise them?

oops. Stupid html. It was supposed to say a "pervy (fill in the blank) fancier", but I used those html bracket thingies and so, of course, they didn't show up.
