This is how much I hate jobhunting: I filed my *taxes* this afternoon. To *procrastinate*.


(Ok, it's not quite that bad. I did file my taxes, but as the uni finally started doing W-2s I was able to telefile both, and from having been unemployed half the year (thus earning half of what the withholding was calculated from) my refund is massive. So I had some incentive to do it early.)

There was an essay I read once about how a smart procrastinator could use that to his/her advantage by always having something *more* annoying to procrastinate from. Sounds like you've got it down pat!

Stacked procrastination. And it's true, it works. It gets you to do things you don't want to do. Of course, it doesn't do anything about getting you to do your most hated thing...
