[psocoptera]

BLORT:

a) the sound made by psocoptera's toilet spontaneously spewing up a bowlful of what looked like soapsuds

b) the sound of the toilet exuding *more* soapsuds to spill out on the floor in a big foamy puddle

c) the sound of the toilet starting to do this *again* after psocoptera mopped up the first batch and washed the floor

d) all of the above



Fortunately it seems to have stopped without overflowing again. And as far as things that might come out a toilet outflow, "some sort of sudsy cleaning product accident" is really not bad. And the building manager should be sending a plumber over tomorrow to investigate. But seriously, why the heck would a toilet start foaming for *no apparent reason*? It could still flush just fine, so it wasn't backed up. Something in the building plumbing, or someone in the building flushing something they shouldn't have. Grrr.

actually, that happened about once a month in the apartment I shared with J. Apparently they'd had the plumber round a few times for the previous tenants, but it could never be fixed. It was a huge pain in the ass, but such is life in the city sometimes.

this was not a very comforting comment, I know :)
