Yeah, "down to their pants" does make me automatically picture trousers, unless I'm reminding myself about British slang. Hrm. And knickers just refers to women's underwear, right?

I guess it's just that people are always taking their clothes off in my stories, whereas nobody ever goes to the chemist's or pushes prams or anything ::grin::.
