The While we tell of Yuletide treasure unfilled requests list? Oddly tempting. Oh look... here's an Atlas Shrugged pairing. As far as I know I am the only person to have actually written Atlas fic (still sadly incomplete), so, *hey*. Here's a couple requests for Blade of the Immortal. I love Blade of the Immortal, despite only having read four books out of about 11 so far. I could write an Immortal fic (heee)! An Enchanted Forest story, like Talking to Dragons and stuff? That could be fun. Fairy tale slash? Little Women? I totally want to write a Jo/Laurie story now. Five Peter Wimsey requests on the list, and granted I've only made it up to (but not through any of) the Harriet Vane books, but it'd be so cool to try to do a Sayers fic. Which reminds me I think Nine Tailors is about a month overdue at the library, doh. A Ranma fic involving Kuno? Bailey/Olivaw slash? (ahahahahah) A Tamora Pierce story about Alex?

Sigh. A), not where I should be putting time and energy, and B), have been feeling kind of lukewarm about writing recently anyways. Which is kind of too bad given plentitude of... not really plot bunnies, I don't think I get bunnies so much as, I don't know, plot algae? Vague plot notions that look like they're maybe going to accumulate into a solid mass of something, or are maybe just going to drift around. But the water is murky with it. Could list off potential projects, but enh.

Endless love for Blade of the Immortal! Just bought/read volume 12 -- I would loan it to (read: force it upon) [livejournal.com profile] emsariel but I'm worried it would warp his fragile mind. As it gets very very very...

...disturbing...

...yeah...

*quietly fangirls Anotsu and Manji in the corner*

1) I feel his mind is already fairly warped, given various evidence from the D&D campaign. Don't know if he has mentioned the heartwarming tale of Feheley and Thosophin but that would be a front-runner for single most impressively disturbing piece of narration.

1a) Disturbing reading that leads to this sort of thing is not necessarily bad ::grin::.

2) I have already been fairly disturbed as of book 4 of Blade of the Immortal. Book 2 in particular. Possibly I should worry about *my* fragile mind. Actually this just confirms my interest in reading further though ::grin::.

3) Volume 12! ::is envious:: Someday.... someday...

4) Anotsu and Manji, huh? Is that in an Anotsu/Manji way, or just the deadly bad-ass goodness? In my corner it is all about Makie. Bad-ass chicks with swords, sigh. Hrm, there seems to be a lot of bad-ass in this paragraph.

5) Nice icon!

1) I'm mid-way through reading his campaign summary, but I'm not sure if I've gotten that far, yet... *laughs* Though really, I shouldn't be suprised. I've watched him play Halo. *snickers* ("WHERE did you say you were going to put that pistol?" "Up his ass." "Thought so..")

1a) OK, then, DEFINATELY need to make him read it... >:}

2) Oooooh, there is no end to how much worse it gets. You haven't even MET Shira.... OR his armbones.... *shudders*

3) Well, maybe someday we'll actually meet and I can hand off a few volumes, eh? They make the rounds ^_-

4) I am Rin/Anotsu all the way, in that sense. (or Anotsu/Makie....OH THE DECISIONS) Generally, though, the rampant badassery is never a bad thing.

5) Danke :D

You should get him to tell you the story himself, properly; my description is buried near the end of a long writeup (I write Cor's Secret Diary, if you've actually been reading the History), in the middle of three other long writeups, because it was The Big Session.

Eek, I think I am glad I have never seen the Halo-playing.

I would be very pleased to meet you if you're ever in Boston wanting to meet random people. There could be, like, dim sum or something.

Well, I suspect Scott will be dragging me to things, so...yeah, seems likely we'll end up in the same place at some point ^_-
