psocopteraStaples did accept the bag of dried-up markers, and also some used printer ink cartridges.
Meanwhile the kids consented to going through a number of things from the shelves (well, I trapped them at dinner and held things up while they ate), so that's a pile of stuff to work on sending on their various ways. Interesting finds include a solar rover robot in a shoebox, an unused solar rover robot kit that at first I assumed was the box from the first robot, but, haha, no, and the box for a doodling robot, empty, suggesting that there is a doodling robot on the loose in our house. (We haven't noticed any stray doodles, so probably it didn't get very far...)
