cleaning my fridge: a community effort

I'm curious whether anyone has an informed opinion - or heck, just an opinion - on the edible lifetimes of:
a jar of salsa
half an avocado (in plastic bag)
half a can of tiny shrimp (in plastic bag)
a jar of pickles
a bottle of V8
an older bottle of V8

Certain items are definitely headed for disposal, such as the egg. Ahem. Let us never mention that again.

In other news, I'm still alive, although struggling with a lot of stress over my return to school.

If you want to talk about school stress sometime, I'm here. Feeling a little unstressed, due to only taking 2.5 credits, but at the same time, understanding exactly how you feel from last semester, and. yes.
