Monstress 6: The Vow. Last time I said I wasn't sure whether this series was going anywhere. This time I feel like it went somewhere! Some big moments - the Maika-Zinn fusion (genuine chills at that fusion form reveal), the apparent revelation that the Ancients are Old Gods who took over bodies (the Wolf Queen/Maika-Zinn faceoff page, in the purple and gold, daaaamn), and the reunion of Maika and Tuya!! And that ending, holy shit. I do really wish we had any idea where in the story this is, but this felt like a big act, whether we're now setting up for the finale or still somewhere in the middle.
