I would suspect fairies at the christening, except I never had a christening. How else to explain the fact that, after three years of not going to the dentist, after twenty-odd x-rays and a painstakingly thorough two-hour exam, it turns out I need: a cleaning. Go me!

I'm so jealous! Did I mention that after almost 2 years of shunning modern dentistry, I finally went and was told that I had 12 cavities? ...12...

I got a second opinion the next week and I had 4 (2 of them were old fillings that needed to be redone).

But I wouldn't recommend to you to get a second opinion.
