In For A Penny

Suffered for being read a sentence at a time between what you could either call interruptions or the precious opportunity to socialize with my visiting parents, depending on your perspective. I like that it tried to engage with some genuine class conflict and the limits of the system - our well-meaning young noble genuinely wants to improve things (to some extent) but even his immense privilege is still constrained by his neighbors and by the various legal/religious/social institutions.
