Decided to use my mom's system and just take the library copy of the guidebook with me on the trip itself. While in library to check out guides also ended up with: Ghost World, the Star Wars comic in which Luke marries Mara Jade, the 2002 Year's Best Science Fiction, "Am I Blue", an anthology of coming-out stories for teenagers, since I had that slash conversation with Franzi in which I determined I hadn't read any real gay lit, and what do I know better than YA, and *music*. It turns out they have a *huge* collection of music, including two things I've been looking to buy used: best of Warren Zevon (ah-hooooooo!), and Forever Your Girl. Of course, am now facing ethical dilemma about possible taping... does it make a difference if it's just until I can track down a used copy? But, ah-hooooo!

Also went to CVS and splurged on Things For Trip - travel-size shampoo and lotion, new sketch pad so I don't have to risk the stuff already in my old one, pocket-sized memo pad for quick notes and small sketches. Ah-hooooo! (Forgot to buy film, though ::makes mental note::)
