meta re recs

So I've been adding books to a to-read list for like eight years, and I recently decided to turn my list into a spreadsheet, the better to remove duplicates, enable sorting, etc. 391 books/graphic novels and 68 movies! Past me did not keep notes on *why* I was adding these things to a list, alas (past me also used very inconsistent formatting for these entries, but I've managed to clean most of that up); present me is trying to do better on behalf of future me. Anyways, this should be entirely invisible from this end of things, I just thought it was neat. (I am refraining from doing any math about the growth rate of this list relative to my reading rate...)

As far as Yuletide recs, I have read almost nothing, I got sick right after Christmas and didn't feel like focusing on anything for awhile. I guess all my reading will be post-author-reveals this year.
