psocopteraI suppose L.M. Montgomery would give Dark Is Rising a challenge in the my-longest-term-fandoms race; here are some stories.
Anne of Green Gables:
Keeping Faith. I liked this story about Una living on without Walter.
Moonstone and Muslin. Anne Shirley In Space! Why not.
The Story Club is Discovered. This ends weirdly abruptly, but I like the premise, and the pining-Gilbert POV.
Chicken Money. Matthew POV is also good.
Emily of New Moon:
Ink of Many Days. About Emily and the Japanese Prince, who gets a name and interior life here.
home is a place. I am really only interested in Barry/Iris when it comes to Flash and this one delivers some great Iris.
Frog and Toad Forever. In the style of the books. So good and funny and sweet.
So this thing where I've been reading on my phone is very challenging in terms of remembering what I need to go back and rec.
It's Betty from Apartment 2204, a funny outsider POV on the events of the first Ghostbusters movie.
Coffee Break, a quirky Gunnerkrigg Court story about Robot and Shadow.
Impulse Control. I liked this Hexwood story, the tone felt true to the book while showing a little glimpse of the future.
Emptiness in Harmony. While we're on Diana Wynne Jones fic that does justice to the books, I also liked this Homeward Bounders story.
And two Howl's Moving Castle stories:
Second Time Lucky, about Howl and Sophie's wedding.
Five Times Howl and Calcifer Came to an Agreement (And One Time They Didn't), what it says on the tin. I like the Calcifer POV.
