psocopteraOkay, I really like the idea that Raina might be the same kind of thing as Skye, and now Garrett's gotten (a version of) the GH compound like Coulson, and Raina and Garrett can be a kind of dark mirror to Skye and Coulson. And there's always been this thread about Skye having somewhat unusual abilities to read people/talk to people, and what if that's the same kind of thing as Raina's (metahuman?) ability to manipulate people. (Plotbunny: "So you're saying," said Ward, "She can - get into your head." "Yes," Raina said. "So this wasn't love," said Ward, "It was... mind control." Raina shrugged. Ward turned away.)
May and Coulson were adorable in their little glasses, and "a large file transfer" was HILARIOUS. I hope someone does write Triplett/Coulson/Howling Commando toys.
Fitz and Simmons in a slooooooowly sinking box is an *excellent* setup for some true confessions, just saying. I mean, I also want to see them get themselves out and turn it into a boat and sail it back to shore (NO - to a TINY ISLAND, and now it's like Fitz was talking about in his lie detector test, that his box had Simmons in it) but I do like "we're going to die and so I need to tell you things".
Ward backstory kind of felt like filler to me, but enh. How many of these little "angry young man" farms do we think Garrett had, scattered around the wilderness? Maybe not a lot, as they seem to imply that his relationship with Ward is special, by having Ward clear everyone else out when he needs to work on Garrett's implant - but *someone* else must have been doing that for Garrett while Ward was on the bus. (Also I have a plot bunny for Ward here, but I might actually write that one...)
