Do you need some happy? Marriage equality took effect in New York today! I got waaay misty. Not sure whether my favorite couple was the 76- and 84-year-old ladies who were the first couple married in Manhattan, or Rod and Ricky from Avenue Q.

Warning: there is also coverage on that page of protestors. Ugh, people protesting other people's weddings seriously annoys me. How is that your business? I was moved to make a helpful flowchart to determine wedding protest legitimacy:
