yay and boo: dentist edition

Boo: bloodiest cleaning of my life at the dentist this morning. I expect this record to be broken in another six months (periodontal disease runs in my family, it's only going to get worse from here) but dang. Must remember to start taking tylenol before I go.

Yay: dinner planned for tonight is steak and spinach. I guess I anticipated feeling a little anemic?*

Also yay: successfully got my hygienist to shut up and stop interrogating me about my personal life by telling her I wasn't feeling chatty this morning. Seriously, questions about how much I brush and floss make perfect sense, questions about my employment and children? Not relevant unless I carry my kids around with my teeth...

*Of course it wasn't actually enough blood to make me anemic, just enough to taste really foul.
