apparently I'm now updating daily

Babywatch: no baby yet. (Not that I think people are on the edge of their seats, but, hey, I might as well enjoy the suspense?)

My hip didn't hurt today so apparently that was an "I did something to it" thing rather than a "this is how it is now" thing. Granted what I did to it was probably something wild and crazy like sitting crookedly or losing my knee pillow during the night or something that I might do again without even realizing it, but I was super glad to not have to deal with that level of pain today, and in fact had a really nice day keeping Juniper busy. (Except when she reaaally wanted to go to the playground and I told her I couldn't walk that far and she said she would hold my hand and my heart. broke.)

And then we had dinner with friends and it was so good to leave the house and they have a tiny newborn and oh my god do I want a tiny newborn of my very own. Under the circumstances this seems like a very reasonable thing to want at this time, so hey.
