the niftiest thing ever
Jul. 13th, 2007 10:07 amI am all crazy trying to get ready as we fly out tomorrow morning and are on the trail Monday and, argh, work, argh. But I just had to take a moment to finally mention the niftiest thing ever:
This is a rug, designed and hand-hooked by Chaos in one of her geometrical designs - it's a pyramid, with the point in the upper right, and each face is a Sierpinski triangle or more likely some subtle variation on a Sierpinski triangle and it is orange and purple and soft and fuzzy and *amazing*. I was absolutely blown away when we opened it and it still boggles my mind to think of the time and effort and creativity that went into this... I have a fuzzy math art on my floor, and a Chaos in my life. Dude.
