Feb. 5th, 2004 07:35 pmVoted in the Strange Horizons readers poll thingy. Now feel quite convinced of having clean forgot several really good stories in going through giant list and winnowing to five. Ah well.
Other random Strange Horizons comment: there are certain people to whom I have recommended Strange Horizons several times, and every time I do they react as though they've never heard of it before. Whereas it seems like with authors or comics people are more likely to be able to say, "oh yeah, I've had that recommended." Is it just not... sticky? Maybe it's not tied enough to any particular thing, whereas with a specific comic or something you can say things like "yeah, if you like this other thing, you should try that", and then they can remember it by the association.
