pageantry (take two)

Went to SCA event with uni medieval society. In garb, courtesy of Cecilia's handmeovers (thanks muchly! got several compliments on the boots!). Watched fencing and heavy list, ran a footrace, learned to throw an axe (well, threw 30 times, by the end of which I occasionally bounced axe off target or got it to stick into dirt; never actually got axe to stick into target), admired other people's garb, watched a commedia dell arte performance, met people, had conversations. Twas good.
