I was surprised to see twelve Oglaf stories. I guess people like teh sexx. Of them, I particularly liked "weaker" sex, A Rare Jewel, Four Seasons, Honor and Glory, and Making Out Like Bandits. If you're not already familiar with Oglaf, you almost certainly don't want to read any of these.
Between That Which Exists. Romance for Artie from Narbonic. DO NOT read this story if you haven't read the entire Narbonic archive.
The Magicians fic! I thought about offering this fandom so it's interesting to see what people wanted. Of the four stories, I particularly liked Variant Flare, about Alice, and After Ever After, also about Alice.
Soldiers, Soldering On is a Mulan day-in-the-life fic.
Get Out Alive, about Angela from My So-Called Life and her first winter break home from college.
A Piece of the Continent. Genly Ai, post Left Hand of Darkness, on his next assignment. Secretly written by LeGuin to see if we can tell. Okay, no, it's not quite how she would do it, but it's beautiful and heartbreaking and fascinating science fiction worldbuilding as a bonus.
Several takes on the idea that The Little Mermaid didn't actually end happily, including this one and this one and this one and this one.
The Spiral of Lives is fucking amazing. Avatar (the movie with the blue guys, not the cartoon with the airbender) as it should have been. I dream of the day that the James Camerons of the world want to tell stories like this; until then, there's fanfic.
