psocopteraIf you are cooking at someone else's house, check their oven before preheating to make sure they don't use it for storage. Especially, say, things in plastic bags. ::facepalm::
(We're all okay! And there wasn't even a fire or anything!)
Less urgently, large casserole dishes take a *long* time to fully reheat. And gallon ziplocs would have made the division and repacking of the leftovers much simpler.
Overall, though, I declare glorious Thanksgiving victory: food was et, family was seen, Junie requested and received a zillion bites of "mashed tayos" and may or may not have learned the word "shankful".
(I am shankful there was no actual fire. Oh. My. God.)
