Hmmm. On the one hand, Dogen was a little coy as to whether Sayid's "balance" was tipped more towards good or towards evil (he just says "the wrong way"), on the other hand, Smocke just massacred a whole bunch of dudes which seems pretty clearly bad. Am currently leaning towards "both Jacob and Smocke are no damn good". Interesting to see Cindy bail from the Temple and join Team Smocke - maybe suggests that she's just been trying to survive all along, going along with whatever seems most likely?
Kate found Claire! Sun is closer to Jin! Progress! Favorite moment: maybe Ben running from Dark Sayid.
A big UGH to alternaSayid rejecting Nadia for her own good. I hate nobility-as-a-romantic-obstacle plots. Bah. Yay to him finding Jin though. I was all "who do we think that is" and Josh said "Jin!" and it was and he claimed to have been trying to think of the least likely person, but, the mob connection, it's not crazy... Nice choice of Keamy as the baddie. I want to know now whether alternaMiles can hear the dead or if that only works as long as the island exists, or something.
Questions:
- who are Adam and Eve (the bodies in the cave)?
- what happened to Rose and Bernard and Vincent after the bomb went off?
- why did the psychic tell Claire she had to be on that plane? is there something special about Aaron? does who ends up raising him have any bearing on any of the big conflicts?
- Walt?
- haha. no, seriously, Walt? do his powers have anything to do with Jacob/Smocke? where is he in the new timeline? what made the Others interested in him, and did Ben really let him go because he was too powerful for him to control?
- Libby?
- why doesn't Richard Alpert age? who/what is he?
- why did flight attendant Cindy happily join the Others?
- will Sun and Jin ever make it back home to their little girl?
- why didn't Sun go back to 1977 with the rest of the Oceanic 6?
Answered:
- what happened to Claire, anyways, after she vanished on the island? (She's been living much as Rousseau did. Also, she's insane and in cahoots with Smocke.)
