Dear Afternoon Nap,
Whatever I did, or didn't do, I'm sorry. I take it back. Don't be this way. I need you. I can't make it without you. After all our good times, we've been so good together, I'm not ready to let it end like this. Please don't go.
Sincerely,
Me
PS: If it's really over, can you get me the number of your hot friend, you know, Longer Morning Nap? Thx.

Date: 2010-01-22 02:11 pm (UTC)(by the by, M. is doing afternoon naps still at nearly 3, but he gave up the morning nap early on at 3. Don't give up though. Quiet rest time is important. Plunk Junie in the crib, give her some music, and say you'll see her later. She may cry (and you can do the going back in after 5 min, after 10, etc. if she's really hollering) but I really believe teaching your kids to sleep on their own is an important skill that you have to give them.)
Best of luck.
