psocoptera: ink drawing of celtic knot (juniper)

Unexpected side effects of girly hand-me-down pants, coupled with your child having a cold: at a quick glance on a wiggling baby, a little round plastic rhinestone looks a lot like a glistening drop has just fallen from their nose.

Baby clothing design can be a bit odd - the newborn clothes never had buttons, and then buttons became common, often conveniently located on the shoulders for easy access, right around when she started to really be able to put everything in her mouth and chew on her clothes - but in this case, the rhinestone things are *really* small, like water-droplet sized, which is actually somewhat safer than things in the pea-to-grape, dime-to-checker sort of range.

And I don't think they're any more uncomfortable than buttons or zippers on the ankles of jeans, which you must have been wearing more or less when I was ::grin::.
