Missing scene I most wished they'd included: Sully is giving his big speech: "Fly, messengers! Rally the tribes! We'll unite and fight back!" And then Neytiri clomps him on the back of the head and says "Um, duh? Oh, sweetie, still like a child. Yeah, we're already doing that, but we do need to know what you can tell us about their battle plan, come on."
Missing scene, runner up: Jake is gasping on the floor of the lab and Neytiri jumps in through the window to save him. As she picks him up, we see a fleeting look of disgust and revulsion cross her face at his tiny pink misshapenness, like, wait, I slept with what?, before she gets his mask on and puts on a brave face for him.
Missing scene, crazy fantasy edition: ava-Jake is on his flyer, looking for the big red plot coupon... he finally spots it and closes in, only to see Neytiri already on its back glaring at him.
Seriously, gorgeous, amazing effects, but the script is not without its problems.
