Whatever else you may think about the whole Spitzer thing, I think it's kind of neat that the new governor of New York is a blind guy; I know it doesn't really have any bearing on the job he'll do, which is likely to be just as terrible as any other politician's, but it makes me happy to think of little elementary school kids in New York learning that blind people can be governor when they do social studies. (There's probably a terrible pun here about "visibility".)
