disproportionately cranky
Nov. 12th, 2004 11:40 amGrr. Also, snarl. Why am I so cranky? It is not really justified. I found out I bounced a check... of course this was over a week ago, by the time the notification arrived... so who knows what has been going on with it since... I set up NetBanking last night so I could transfer money to amend the situation but all I can get is an error message saying it can't complete the transaction, despite my having (apparently) correctly answered some difficult questions to verify my identity. Like, what state was my social security number issued in. Well... how would I know, I was a little kid then! My birth state was not on the multiple-choice list but the other state I grew up in was so I guessed that instead of none of the above. And was apparently right but am still not able to simply fix the money thing without having to go find a bank somewhere and pay the in-a-bank fee. Gah. Also my laptop power cord has ceased to supply power to my laptop, so I had to get out the old flaky one, which is not being at all flaky, so who knows what's going on there. And I have to go to the post office and the library and the hardware store and these are all different directions. Okay, actually the hardware store is on the way to the post office, and I might be able to return stuff to the library near the bank, but wah. Cranky! (I need a bad mood icon. Here I am using Xander, who does not deserve it. If only the icon-creation process would not involve using the GIMP, which seems potentially disastrous given that I am already cranky.)
