psocopteraI was not thrilled when I heard about this so-called Book Six title "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince". But then it occurred to me... we know JKR has a fondness for anagrams that disguise true names. This must be one more layer of misdirection, and the real title is something like... with a little rearranging...
Harry Potter and the Ron Filch Opal Bed
There you have not only a title, but (with the addition of a slash) a key romantic subplot. With such canonical support this could be the next hot fanfic pairing.
But what if that's not the right anagram?
The Challenge: take your best shot at discovering the real title hidden in "Half Blood Prince" and use that as the title of a post-OotP fic supporting your theory ::grin::. Um... (some stuff about collecting and posting and deadlines that I haven't figured out yet).
