Mar. 25th, 2004 01:48 pmSaw _My Big Fat Greek Wedding_ last night with gaming friends as off-week from gaming. Very fun movie, and even managed to stop myself from squeeing aloud over appearance of Joey. And was fun to hang out without the focus on the campaign.
Had an entertaining dream last... well, this morning I guess, as have unfortunately lapsed back to 6:00-15:00 sleep schedule. Nice symbolic combination of reality and anxiety, in that instead of missing the class I'm TAing for (which I have the past two days) I was somehow having to repeat elementary school and had missed *that* class, so I had to do a make-up book report on "National Velvet", which I was somehow going to analyze in terms of some kids book from the 50s I had, but so anyways Carpenter was somehow helping me, and we went to the library to find National Velvet, which was my home library from my parents' neighborhood but all remodelling, and here's the fun thing, I'm pretty sure it was remodelled *as per a previous dream* from some time ago. Only things weren't quite connected right and while Carpenter went to look up where it would be in the catalog, I thought I remembered the author and would just look in the kids section, only I couldn't get there because the doors kept changing where they opened and stuff. Also I was remembering the author as "Elizabeth Bartlett" while research upon waking up suggests it is actually "Enid Bagnold" - am not sure the initials are a coincidence or not. Also yeeshmy window is all fucked up and I can't actually see what I'm typing. Stupid iCab. ANyways, I likedall my worris over school being represented by somehow having to repeat elementary school and screwing that up, hee.

Date: 2004-08-04 02:28 am (UTC)Anyway. To the point. So. Chaos' birthday is August 29. We (her INI buddies and me) want to do something for her that she'd like. Someone suggested a games night and potluck (with extra points for eggplant-containing foods) at somebody-besides-Chaos' house. I was wondering whether you thought this was optimal, or if there were maybe some other thing you thought she might like better. You seemed like the ideal person to ask. What would she most like for us to do for her?
