I did a bunch of going through of stuff today but none of it actually left the house yet. But I have a disadvent question: awhile ago, J's employer sent him an award certificate and a big glass trophy for - this cracks me up - Humility. The certificate is in a perfectly functional frame we can use when we have some suitable picture, but what's he supposed to do with the trophy? I mean, he's not going to put it on the mantel, right?

Hee! I feel like y’all ought to go all out with it. Put it on the mantel, point a spotlight at it, decorate it with all sorts of spangles and glitter, maybe add some sort of audio…

just make sure it won't burn the house down if it gets sunlight through it!

I thought about putting it out in the garden like in a flowerbed or something but it's pointy on top and I could just see someone tripping and falling on it and getting impaled. Why couldn't they just send him a gift card or something.
