The Dead Cat Tail Assassins, P. Djèlí Clark, 2024 novella. I just did not care, and could not make myself care, about this book. Maybe that's me - I continue to be in an "I don't feel like reading" phase - or maybe it was the book. I'm just not that interested in assassins, or people who think torture is fun. There are a bunch of fight scenes in this book with a bunch of different oh-so-cleverly-designed assassins and I am just not in a time in my life where what makes me interested in a character is their weapon. Possibly Clark is becoming a hit-or-miss author for me, doh.
