Did you see my post (here) where I talked about Bea Wolf? If not, I'll recap, I thought it was a cute idea but I didn't find it that interesting beyond the initial concept. I'd be fine seeing it win - it *is* a fun concept - but liked the other three more. And Saga and Three Body Problem I didn't read at all and so didn't rank. (If I had really hated something I would probably have ranked out the whole category so I could rank it below No Award...)
I would have to agree Mimicking of Known Successes is not always the most riveting, pacing/plot-wise. I thought the setting was really neat and original but was already feeling more lukewarm by the second book, and apparently she got a deal for three more of them which I'm not sure is a train I want to board. Although, enh, they're enjoyable, and I like Older.
