Disadvent 4
Dec. 4th, 2023 12:58 pmOld/unwanted medicines to the medicine disposal at a local CVS. Not my regular CVS, but one I go past all the time, so I've been meaning for months to do it as part of some other errand, but in fact it never feels like it makes sense to add a sidequest when I'm driving kids around or trying to get home with groceries or whatever. But here in the Disadvent season I am embracing the single-purpose errand to get tasks like this done! (And as it happened, it got me out of the house right at midday with a beautiful blue sky that made my entire brain go "*hello*, we might be vitamin D deprived right now??", and I went to a local park and touched some nice moss.)
(Also as a bonus, the original packaging to the hand mixer and electric toothbrush. There are some items where I think it's actually worthwhile to have the original packaging - my digital piano is large, expensive, and probably fairly delicate, and I expect to be glad I kept its box if and when I need to move it. But I can't say the same for the hand mixer or toothbrush. And why were their boxes taking up high-value hall closet space?)
