I bounced off this one early--I get why characters throwing money around to solve problems can be as cathartic as them stabbing a lot, but it's not something I was in the mood for. And all of the things I liked (pain management, disabilities not being the sole point of characterization, disabled people as sexually desirable) ended up feeling very consciously placed; I found myself mapping out MICE quotients. The dog was obviously going to be pivotal, but if that's how it was pivotal I'm just as glad I put it down.
