Once and Future 2 & 3

I ended up voting for Once and Future last year because I just wasn't excited about anything else, but gosh it was neither new nor interesting this year. I just don't feel like Gillen is saying anything particularly interesting about any of these stories. I guess I liked the Hot Fuzz cameo in volume 2, that was about it.

I keep being really disappointed in this series. I loved Gillen’s _Young Avengers_, but everything else of his that I’ve seen has made me think that he’s just not interested in telling the kinds of stories that I’m interested in reading. :(

(Also, the power of Story is a theme that I usually particularly like—see, for example and especially, _Loki: Agent of Asgard_—but the way Gillen is handling it in this series doesn’t do anything for me.)
