Fevered Star

Fevered Star, Rebecca Roanhorse, book two of the trilogy that started with Black Sun (apparently officially the "Between Earth and Sky" series, which messes up my theory that the next one was going to have "Sky" in the name). Roanhorse's worldbuilding continues to be excellent - we get to go to a Cahokia-based city, and learn more about the past in terms of both history and mythology/metaphysics - and she's doing a good job balancing the intrigue plot and the epic-fantasy plot. I look forward to the resolution of it all.
