I finally finished Maria Dahvana Headley's Beowulf, which I guess not surprisingly turns out to be A Piece Of Cultural Context I didn't have before and now do. Kinda feels like I just got some of the jokes in The Hobbit almost forty years after reading it. :)

Also watched Palm Springs, which I quite enjoyed. Spoiler: hey, it's my beloved "people who do something about their situation" trope again! I liked the whole thing but the science montage made me so happy.
