The Mermaid Astronaut, Yoon Ha Lee, Beneath Ceaseless Skies. This may be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen done with The Little Mermaid, wow.
Unlike Most Tides, Darcie Little Badger, Drabblecast. A red tide that's something else.
Kiki Hernández Beats the Devil, Samantha Mills, Translunar Travelers Lounge (PodCastle reprint). "Fights with music" stories can be hit or miss for me but I imprinted *hard* on Gossamer Axe thirty years ago and this story has that energy.
Never a Butterfly, Nor a Moth With Moon-Painted Wings, Aimee Ogden, Beneath Ceaseless Skies. Powerful story about refugees and assimilation and survival. F/F.
