Seven of Infinities

Seven of Infinities, Aliette de Bodard, 2020 novella. A human lady and a spaceship lady have a romance and solve a mystery, who could ask for more? (There is actually more to it than that, there's a lot of neat stuff going on here about pasts and presents and constructing versions of yourself.) I really enjoyed this and definitely recommend it to people who like the Xuya universe, have been meaning to try reading something in the Xuya universe, like f/f, or are looking to read novellas that have a good shot at ending up on awards ballots. (Although not a shoe-in, because there are so many good novellas out there, and presumably some slots will also go to things I don't personally like...)
