a rare look ahead

psocopteraI feel like thinking about the future! For reasons I am not going to dig into too deeply at this time. Here are the seven priority-one books currently on my possibly-to-read list: My Favorite Thing Is Monsters vol 2 (which now has a new date in Sept 2021?! will we actually finally get this??), Willowweep Manor, a graphic novel from the teamup of Shaenon Garrity and Christopher Baldwin (July 2021), A Desolation Called Peace, sequel to Memory Called Empire (March 2021), Fugitive Telemetry, #6 in Wells' series (April 2021), Alecto the Ninth (2022, boo), The Last Graduate, Scholomance #2 (July 2021), Witness for the Dead, Goblin Emperor sequel (June 2021).
Also related to my list it has occurred to me that neither of my kids is very interested in picture books any more. So possibly my whole picture book category should get downranked to "no longer intending to read". Sort of weird. (And I've been thinking I should downrank some of the older priority-twos, since if it's been on the list for three or four years without action maybe it wasn't actually that high a priority...).
