Bath Tangle

Bath Tangle... when I was a kid it was bath then detangle... ba-dum. No, okay, this is a Heyer book that I had a physical copy of, and it was my backup book on the Scotland trip but I only got partway, and then I mismanaged my reading recently and got into a situation where everything I wanted to read was a big hardbound and I had no ebook but it's winter now and I can fit a paperback in my coat pocket if it's not too thick, so I finished it. Anyways, this book suffered from a bad case of I Hate The Hero, who was pretty odious from the first time we met him and never got any more appealing (plus the big romantic climax was "kiss her forcibly until she stops struggling" which... no...), but I did like the secondary couple. Of the nine of these I've read now, would recommend Cotillion or Masqueraders for anyone looking to Read A Heyer.
