Galen Dara is one of my nominees; I'm a longtime fan and I'd love to see her get a win. Nice portfolio here, hard to pick a favorite. "Nightdancer"?

I'm sympathetic to Bastien Lecouffe Deharme over the whole "Terry Goodkind being a dick" thing but in fact his art isn't that exciting to me. Well, the sarcophagus one is pretty neat.

John Picacio's "La Valiente" is pretty great, the rest is ok.

Kathleen Jennings's work is cute with a nice retro feel but not very memorable to me.

Oh *wow*, I barely knew there was a Dark Crystal comic but Sana Takeda's covers are *gorgeous*, I wonder if she ever sells poster prints or anything. (I want #2. Or possibly #1 or #4.)

Victo Ngai was another one of my nominees. I want a poster print of "Dan Yuan Ren Chang Jiu" too. (This isn't completely unreasonable to wish for... I have a Donato Giancola poster that was originally a book cover, presumably other artists could do it too... except Ngai seems to sell high end fine art prints instead of mass-market prints.)

Oof, so how am I going to rank these. I feel like it's pretty clear who's in the top half and who's in the bottom half, but within those halves, eek. I guess... maybe... like this? I feel pretty wishy-washy about it.
