psocoptera1.I loved that they pushed hard on both "what kind of real-world stuff can you talk about with superheroes" and "let's interrogate these superhero tropes".
2. Best music of any Marvel movie? Well, Thor:Ragnarok did some good work there too, and Black Panther didn't quite make it all the way to having a memorable theme, at least not on first listen for me. But still better than any of the rest of them.
3. Also maybe the most coherent structure for a Marvel movie ever? Or maybe I mean "formally structured". (Switching to spoilers here) The inversion of the second half! Beautiful!
4. I was a little surprised they didn't do a "wait should we use the last ever heart-shaped herb now or should we save it and try to grow more", but I guess it underscored the urgency of the situation that it wasn't even a question.
5. Man, a villain with a good point is so much more powerful than someone gratuitously Evil.
6. Really appreciated the scene halfway through when the two white guys talked to each other - I had been wondering when I could take a bathroom break without missing much and there it was.
7. Basically just wow. Can't wait to go again.
