AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Is Thibault dead?? Or temporarily dissociating? Was that Glitch glitching him at the end? Wow does "not dead until you see the body" take on a whole new twist when you've had him speculating about whether his power would keep working after death and maybe people would keep discovering the body. Flicker *took off the bracelet* I'm so upset. Whennnn do we get the last one, these kids are in some serious end-of-Empire-Strikes-Back territory here and I need that final-part heroism to make it better. Thematically, I think it would be neat if Glitch turned out to be the final big bad - that the violence of Swarm is actually less of a threat than the meaninglessness, that feels thematic with what it seems like they're trying to do, regarding millennials and attention and its-all-a-metaphor-for-social-media and whatnot? What will Flicker be able to do if she levels her power? Shades of FreakAngels here in such a good way, I can't wait to see where this ends up.
(And I still want aaaaaall the fic, I want to see so much more of Flicker and Thibault's relationship, I want to know what Nate's thinking in jail, is Chizara ever going to be able to have sex without wrecking things, does she have a future with Kelsie, generally, !!!!!)
