So Rhysenn's decided that my fic doesn't qualify for her challenge, because despite the whopping dose of Aragorn/Legolas slashiness the primary pairing is femslash, and the challenge criterion was "a man/elf pairing", by which she apparently meant "man" in the "male gender identity" sense as opposed to the "younger race of Children of Illuvatar" sense. Am bummed; would have been really neat to get my story up in a Rhysenn-hosted challenge. But, hey, it's something I wanted to write anyways, and if the challenge got me off my butt to do it I suppose it served its purpose, and I'm still going to go read all the yummy man/elf pairings even if the Men are all men. (And, I assume, the Elves too... somehow I doubt Aragorn/Arwen would have gotten in either, despite the apparent man/elf-iness...)
