Junie had her last day of preschool today. I got a little misty. Dude. Three years. She started all small and resistant and tearful and ended up one of the tallest and loudest and ringleaderiest. I guess that is what they do but CUE THE PARENTAL MILESTONE FEELINGS.

Today also might have been my last nap for a long time - Q and I usually take one from about 1 to 3 pm but with Junie's kindergarten pickup at 2:15 that will not be happening. I have various things I want to try for Q's nap (maybe I can get him down in the stroller and he will sleep through the whole pickup? maybe I can move his nap into the late afternoon?) but in none of them do I get a nap myself. And Josh gets the weekends. Well, it was nice while it lasted.

my solution, which may not be an option for you, was to pay extra for "extended day" at Janet's school -- so instead of picking up Janet at 1:30 and Sheena at 2:30, I pick up Sheena first and then go get Janet. She's dropping the nap at home, but so far she's still napping a bit at school.

For naps, isn't Q starting preschool? Maybe you can snag naps while he's there.

Michael always naps in the stroller. Hopefully Q will as well.
