I found myself in the bizarre position of wishing they'd spun out the "Skye and Ward alone in a Canadian shack isolated secret base" business a bit more, which is possibly the first time I have ever said "I wish a TV show would drag this thing out longer", but it was just so classic thriller movie, with her realizing he's the killer, it's such an intense situation, the plane is less claustrophobic somehow. Of course I found it hard to buy that super-under-cover-Romanov-level Ward didn't notice that Skye had made him - *she's* not super-under-cover-etc and, like, I'm not sure how she even got her makeup fixed that fast, let alone her physiological stress response dialed down - but if he's in a hurry to get going it gives him an excuse to not be paying close attention.
May's mom, omg. In what we might call the "George Takei role". I would watch the hell out of the "May and her mom" show.
Ugh Coulson annoyed me in this episode. I mean, I guess in some ways it was perfect, that he's doing with his Cellist what SHIELD has been doing with, um, everything and everybody, deciding for them what's good for them and withholding information, but, meh, Coulson didn't really show any signs of *getting* that, so, whatever.
Fitz has Simmons in his box, Simmons has the TARDIS. ::nailbites::
