Korra episode 5
Oct. 7th, 2013 12:04 amSo is Bolin being cast as Nuktuk a direct dig at the casting of white actors as Katara and Sokka in the live-action movie? (Not that Bolin is white, but he's light-skinned compared with the typically darker Water Tribe.)
Otherwise, I got nothin'. No, wait, haha, sure I do. Tonight's entries for "women don't have agency" theater - Korra is furious with Mako, but it's Mako who breaks up with her, at which point Korra is shocked and weepy; Asami and Korra want to Do Something but they just can't come up with anything to do without Varrick coming up with it for them! And what's up with the obstructionist cops outside Bei Fong's office, are we really supposed to believe she would tolerate that sort of bullshit from her staff?
