Meanwhile Q has an ear infection, and diarrhea from the antibiotics he's taking for the ear infection, and diaper rash from the diarrhea, and he's teething *horribly*, big purple gum of pain.

Meanwhile Junie is four.

But it's not all bad - I braved the cloud of mosquitoes, taking only one or two bites (at 1 pm, with the sun shining, and the breeze blowing - these things are not kidding around) to harvest a first handful of sugar snap peas, which Junie is now devouring. She agrees that it's exciting to get to eat something we planted, and is eager for Quentin to get to try some too. So sweet and interesting, when she's not frantically testing limits...

Ugh - too many child difficulties all at once. I hope things get easier soon. I feel your pain about the mosquitos - our yard is full of them too. It's mostly bad because Devorah gets bitten and is then miserable.
